Hi Alastair,
Both Jane and I had a wonderful time. We both just love Scotland and you and Iain made the trip very special for us both. The places you put us up were all very nice. The food was excellent and the staff in the hotels were very courteous. Everything was clean and comfortable and you and Iain were prompt, patient, knowledgeable, didn't waste a lot of time, and showed us all we could have ever expected to see. We especially loved learning more about Scottish history, from the castles to the Vikings, to the rocks. Many thanks for all you did for us. We wouldn't change a thing. In fact I have already recommended you to a few people and I am sure Jane has too.

Our trip was great! I would definitely recommend your services to everyone! Prestonfield and The Cromlix House were both amazing. We actually liked Cromlix a little better. They upgraded our room (for a reason they didn't explain) so I am sure that had something to do with our decision. Our room was enormous, it was a shame we were only there for one night. The countryside was as beautiful as all the pictures we have seen. It was spectacular! We really didn't have any complaints. I thank you for all your help.

Hi Alastair,
I think the trip you planned out for us was lovely, very varied and showing us a wide variety of countryside and lifestyles. We enjoyed riding the trains and buses and think we saw a bit of Scotland through the people that we interacted with that we wouldn't have by driving. For the most part everyone was very friendly. Thank you so much for helping us and assisting us in our travels. The best part of the whole trip was that my daughter saw "real history" that she's only read about, rekindling her love of history; I got to take thousands of photographs; and my husband had such a good time he's willing to go back. He's not a traveller and so for him to want to go back is a great thing.

The holiday was wonderful. The weather was perfect while we were there. The highlight (of course) was Ethie Castle. The breakfast was AMAZING...the best over all our 15 days. The second night there, we sat in the cozy den in front of the fire and hear ghost stories and a bit of history of Scotland. I appreciate the service you gave me. Trying to find something on the internet was very frustrating and time-consuming. It was such a relief to hand it over to you and have you do it for me. Thank you.

Hi Alastair
I wanted to let you know what a great time we had in Scotland. The accommodations were excellent. Ethie was a lot of fun and really the truest B+B we've stayed in in a long time. Kirstin was a great hostess. The food was very good and we got to meet some interesting people. She was very helpful in pointing out what to do in the area. I think this place is a real find. We took both our dinners there. You've probably heard all there is to say about Stuart Castle. Caroline is a great hostess. The rooms are beautiful. You almost feel like you are staying on a movie set.. Eileen Iarmain was a nice small hotel, The food was excellent. We got lucky and had great weather while we were there. Hard for us to tell it is the misty island.
Once again, thanks for planning a great trip. Feel free to use us as a reference.

Alastair, I want to thank you for the wonderful trip to Scotland that you recently arranged for Jackie and me. In a word, the trip was PERFECT!!!!! The accommodations that you arranged were absolutely wonderful. I don't think you could have selected better places for us to stay. It was great seeing Gail Taylor again. When you stay with the Taylor's it is like visiting old friends. What wonderful hosts they are. The B&B in Edinburgh was superb. We really enjoyed the time we spent with Alex McPherson. She too is a wonderful host. The itinerary that you suggested was wonderful. We saw all we wanted to see and more - - thank you Best wishes

Hello Alastair,
I want to give you some feedback from our Scotland trip, which you have been arranging for us. We can say (and all participants agreed) that the trip was a total success. These choice of hotels was a perfect mixture of typical Scottisch , luxury, basic and familiar. Everybody was happy with the arrangements which have been made. The big breakfasts were appreciated. All over the trip was a complete success, and we're convinced that it would be difficult to do it better. Even the weather was perfect.
